- Candidate Sourcing:
Talent communities are developed and candidates are sourced
through active and passive media strategies (digital online
and traditional offline) and continually networked and communicated
with through state-of-the-art CRM tools. Human Alliance
Talent makes use of various Internet job boards and partners
with Fuse Net Solutions and Ayanda Mbanga Communications
~ this creative approach to talent procurement differentiates
Human Alliance Talent from its competitors.
- Applicant Processing:
Recruiting and selecting the right people requires a great
deal of time, expertise, and expense. Human Alliance Talent's
online Applicant Processing capability powered by ProHire
speeds up and improves the efficiency of the recruitment
cycle and reduces recruiting costs by 40% or more.
- Candidate Selection:
The quality of candidate selection is significantly improved
through the use of advanced online software tools and state-of-the-art
behavioural and vetting tools. Human Alliance Talent is
a certified and accredited Thomas International and Insights
Discovery practitioner.
- Candidate Placement:
Candidates placed in employment are effectively integrated
through value added services such as employment contracts,
performance management contracts, probationary period management
and coaching ~ this creative approach to candidate placement
differentiates Human Alliance Talent from its competitors.
SERVICE OFFERINGS
Human Alliance Talent offers the following integrated recruitment
services to its Clients:
- Contingent Placement
The placement of candidates embraces the 4 phases of integrated
talent management, aimed at sourcing candidates through
creative strategies, processing applicants through the recruitment
cycle, selecting short listed candidates with state-of-the-art
tools and professionally placing them in employment. Human
Alliance Talent's guarantee of quality extends for a period
of 90 days from the candidate's start date. A placement
fee is charged only if a candidate takes up the employment.
- Response Handling
The handling of applicant responses embraces the phases
of Applicant Processing either digitally through various
online channels (Career Junction and/or Careers 4 You) or
manually through the communication channels of e-mail, fax
and post; and Candidate Selection through behavioural assessments
and vetting. A response handling fee is charged for the
service irrespective of whether a suitable candidate is
secured or not.
- Value Added Services
Various value added services are available either through
Human Alliance Talent or the broader Human Alliance Group,
aimed at improving the quality of the candidates finally
selected and placed in employment. Further details are contained
in the next section.
- Online Career
Centres
The entire recruitment process is streamlined and managed
effectively and efficiently via a company branded web page
(Career Centre) and back-end recruitment engine. This e-recruitment
offering enables vacancies to be advertised on a branded
site, candidates to be sourced, screened, evaluated, tracked
and communicated with. Shortlists are compiled through the
application of software tools. A proactive candidate database
is continually built (which the company owns) and from which
searches can be made for future employees. Key benefits
are that brand pull is used to source candidates without
recruitment advertising and recruitment costs are slashed.
An ongoing monthly fee is charged plus a fee per job managed
on the Career Centre.

VALUE ADDED SERVICES

The Insights Discovery Personal Profile provides a detailed

and how they might develop to improve their effectiveness
both as a person and as a professional. This is an excellent
development and coaching tool.The online Evaluation and Profile
production is efficient, accurate and user-friendly.
The Thomas International Personal Profile provides guidance
in better matching the short listed candidate to the vacancy.
Both the candidate and vacancy for which they are applying
are profiled, maximising the chance of a good match and allowing
discussion to take place before the final selection decision,
rather than after the candidate starts work.
Development Potential Assessments
The Thomas International Tests for Selection and Training
(TST) assesses short listed candidate's inherent learning
potential and trainability and provides further guidance in
better matching the short listed candidate to the vacancy.
Reference Checking
The online ID-Refcheck service verifies a wide range of personal
information about individuals and issues a unique encrypted
digital watermark that serves as proof of this verification.
Worldwide information relating to short listed candidates
that can be verified includes credit checks, criminal records,
employment history, professional association memberships,
tertiary academic qualifications, drivers licenses, matrics
and proof of identity.
Interviewing and Selection
The Targeted Selection process provides guidance in accurately
and equitably selecting the best candidate for the Job. It
is a behaviourally based interviewing and selection tool.
