| The team
The Human Alliance team has the experience
and expertise gained from years 'in the trenches' covering
diverse industries. This is underpinned by relevant academic
qualifications, the passion to develop people and the hard-nosed
business skills required to provide ROI on human capital and
reduce any risk associated with this vital element of your
business.
When selecting a HR partner, you will probably consider the
following:
- Qualified and experienced staff.
- The capacity to handle all of your requirements
(one-stop service).
- Available when you need them (forming
a partnership).
We are sure you will
find all of these attributes in Human Alliance. Plus one more
Passion.
Passion for your business objectives.
Passion for developing your staff.

Go Bokke!

Directors
Kevin Alborough (Managing Director)
Kevin started his career with JCI, working in the gold, platinum
and industrial divisions. This astute and driven professional
moved to the abrasives industry (Norton Abrasives) and then
to Plessey as HR Director before founding Human Alliance.
Kevin provides the vision for Human Alliance and, having escaped
the sometimes-confining walls of corporate life, now revels
in transferring that knowledge and vision for the benefit
of his clients.
Kevin holds a degree in Social Science (Psychology and Social
Anthropology) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Employment Law.

Dave Granger (Executive Director)
Dave spent 5 years or so as a teacher before becoming a sales
representative for Juta & Co in the publishing industry.
A change in career took him to the PG Bison Group where he
specialised in adult education and change management. Dave
then extended his expertise to include Industrial Relations,
joining Penny-Pinchers as the Group Human Resource Manager.
Dave's natural desire to grow people combined with his IR
expertise means he is ideally placed to oversee Organisational
Development & Training and Labour Dispute Resolution,
which he heads at Human Alliance. One day you'll find Dave
in intense wage negotiations with trade union representatives,
the next he'll be teaching sales reps about how to recognise
buyers "wearing" red, blue, yellow or green caps
and how to manage those sales situations.
Formal education includes a degree in Arts
(Stellenbosch) and Post Graduate Diplomas in Education (Stellenbosch),
Employment Law (UCT) and Labour Relations (Stellenbosch).

people. Dave began his HR management career in training (Freemarket
Foundation), has worked in publishing, the foundry industry
(Gearings Foundry) and the electronics industry (Plessey).
Dave looks after the Outsourced Services side of Human Alliance.
He is not too fussed about whether he's
working with big business or an SMME, pointing out that Human
Alliance can make a significant difference to smaller business.
Dave wants to make that difference.
He holds a degree in Arts (UCT) and Post
Graduate Diplomas in Education (UCT), Labour Relations (Stellenbosch)
and Employment Law (UCT).
